What is your name? :-) Ilya

Where are you from? Originally Russia, then quite a few other countries in Northern/Western Europe.

Where is your favourite place in the world? Vilnius and Brno, if we speak about towns; otherwise, in the evening by the fire in the forest near the lake or river with a guitar in hands.

Why did you become a teacher? by accident, highly fortuitous one.

What do you like most about teaching? the feeling that I'm making a difference by helping people.

What is your greatest strength as a teacher? Willingness to help and enjoying the job, I guess.

What do you like about the English (or Czech) language?  English - flexibility; Czech - the sound of it (don't understand its deeper beauty yet)   

Why are you living in Brno?  Initially almost by accident, now because its one of my most favourite cities in the world.

What do you like about Brno? It's a city with intelligent and lovely people and it's very easy to get out of when you want it.

What do you do in your free time? Walking around, surfing the internet, doing something connected with music.

Tell us about your favourite book / film / TV programme. Love long family sagas like Thorn birds; a big Harry Potter fan. The same applies to films. Not a fan of TV.
