What is your name? :-) Peter
Where are you from? I grew up in and around High Wycombe.
Where is your favourite place in the world? Without doubt my favourite place in the world is the north of Portugal around and including Oporto. I lived in the city for a year and each time I go back it feels like home. It has everything beaches, culture, nightlife but it is very much a working city and still retains its still slightly gritty edge especially compared to Lisbon.
What place should someone not miss on a visit to your homeland? I would suggest one of three places; Bristol, Birmingham or the view from the top of the Worcester Beacon on a clear day.
What do you like most about teaching? What is your greatest strength as a teacher?
What is your favourite word in English? Burnt Out, I'm either not sure on its meaning or its over used.
What do you do in your free time? The same things as most people, watch telly, go out, ocasionally exercise, read. Sadly nothing exceptional.
What was the last picture you took on your phone? The last picture I took was of the whiteboard with the topics we had agreed to talk about, so I wouldn't forget.
What was the last thing you listened to on your phone? The last thing I listened on my phone was 'Mario's Cafe' by Saint Etienne, I had just read an article in 'The Guardian' about the band and went on a lovely trip down memory lane.
What was the last present you bought for yourself? The last present i bought for myself was a copy of 'Moby Dick' I read it a couple of years ago, but I suspect it could do with rereading.
What was the last thing you cooked for somebody else? The last thing I cooked for other people was Roast Chicken with all the trimmings, although Christian did most of the cooking.
