Yurii Chybras

I am Yurii. I come from Ternopil, Ukraine and have lived in Brno since 2017. Since 2018, I have taught English, Czech to foreigners and practical/academic English at Masaryk University. Apart from teaching, I am also a professional translator, and I am currently doing my PhD in English linguistics, focusing on sociolinguistics and phonetics. As a linguist, I enjoy both teaching and learning languages. I am fluent in English, Czech, and Polish, apart from my native Ukrainian, and slowly making my way through Irish, Japanese, and German. In my free time, I am an amateur voice actor and musician.
