Net Languages http://ilcbrno.netlanguages.com is a series of e-learning programs designed for teaching foreign languages. The programs were created by co-operation between our partner school International House Barcelona and Grupo Santillana (a European publisher of educational materials), in addition to British Aston University.
Net Languages is used by a hundred thousand users all over the world. The courses are suitable for public use by both adults and children, and also for companies and institutions. The most significant progress in learning is achieved by blended courses, which combine e-learning with direct teaching. The consultation is led by an international team of experienced and qualified teachers. Students can use a phone (VoIP).

The course is led by a teacher who communicates with the student during the course, corrects their essays, and helps them. At the end of each lesson, the tutorials will take place over the phone (Skype, ...) or the Internet. The main goal is to practise speaking with a native speaker and the student also gets feedback on their work.
There is also the possibility of purchasing additional speaking tutorials.
The course is offered from beginner level (A1+) to advanced level (C1) and includes all the components of the language, (i.e. grammar, vocabulary, listening, writing, reading, pronunciation, speaking and participating in tutorials with the lecturer).
The courses are designed for 12 months, but the student can buy access for 6 months - part A and part B.
The student has an assigned teacher answering questions and giving feedback on oral and written work.
This module contains materials for about 20 to 25 hours of study and you can choose from the following modules: Meetings, Making Presentations, Telephoning, Writing, Negotiating and Selling, Banking and Finance, Staffing and Training, and Traveling. Each module then focuses on all areas of the language, (i.e. grammar, listening, vocabulary, writing, reading and speaking in the context of the selected module). There are also speaking tutorials, one on each module. If you wish to have more speakng tutorials then it is possible to purchase more.
The course is available at Intermediate (B1) and Upper Intermediate (B2) levels.

These courses focus on all areas of the language (listening, writing, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, etc.), but are intended for self-study. Students can enroll for a year-long course (10 lessons, about 100-130 hours of materials) or for half a year. There is also a choice of level from A1/2 (false beginners) to C1 (Pre-advanced).

To order and purchase an appropriate course (module), you need to know the language, focus, approximate level. You can use this online test to find out your level of English. The course must be ordered by e-mail (at info@ilcbrno.cz), payment can be made in cash at the school office or by bank transfer (in CZK according to the current EUR exchange rate). After you order and pay for the course, an email with access information and other instructions will be delivered to you after two working days.
