The quality and standard of teaching young learners and teens has increased incredibly in recent years as best practice gets more and more widely shared. Come and improve your own toolkit and increase your confidence to ensure the students you work with are getting the best their teacher can offer.
This course is for language teachers at all levels of knowledge and experience. Because the course content focuses on improving core teaching skills and developing best practice in the classroom, teachers from different backgrounds can all benefit, whether you mainly teach children taking their first steps in a second language or teenagers on their way to taking exams.
We aim to help you develop as a teacher, through reflecting on your teaching practice, learning some new techniques and methods, and getting some practical ideas and activities for the language classroom.

The modern classroom has changed over the years and we as teachers need to update our knowledge and skills to keep pace, and keep on top of both best practice and what students want. This course provides a range of input, activities and practical skills to help you do this whether you teach groups of young adults or an executive one-to-one, or anything in between.
Your core teaching skills will get a boost, and there is space to reflect and share with the other participants. The course will help you develop your skills and techniques for teaching in the modern, ever-changing classroom. Because we keep the groups to fewer than 10 participants we are able to adapt the course to meet your specific needs.
