English Teacher and/or Teacher of Czech for Foreigners

ILC IH Brno is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated teachers of English and/or Czech for foreigners, whether you are newly qualified or have taught before, who wants to join a school where they will develop and gain experience.

Requirements:

• Have CELTA, Trinity TESOL (or equivalent) or be enrolled in a pedagogical faculty
• Commit to teaching for us for 2 full school years*
• Commit to teaching 8-12 teaching hours (a teaching hour is 45 minutes) throughout the school year
• Have full mastery (CEFR C1 level) of the language you wish to teach across all 4 skills**
• Be ready to teach a range of age groups (young learners, compnay classes, 1-2-1) and level (A2-C1)
• Be interested in and committed to their own development as a teacher
• Ideally have some prior teaching experience

The ideal candidate should:

• Have a responsible outlook
• Be able to work independently and also as a supportive member of a teaching team
• Understand that teaching is hard work but ultimately very rewarding 
• Be excited about teaching languages

Salary:

The hourly rate (starting at 330 czk per 60 minutes before tax) is on a sliding scale and depends on the candidate’s experience, qualifications and range of teaching competencies.
